So what does it all mean? What could you learn from our examples?

In this brief example, we have tried to demonstrate the linkages required within the documentation itself (procedures defined within the Manual;  forms defined within the procedures) and the ISO-9000 "pyramid" which consists of:

Level I: The pyramid is topped by the single, overarching Quality Policy that guides the organization in all decisions.
Level II: The Quality Manual defines general guidelines for completing particular tasks, such as Calibration.

Level III:
Documented Procedures define precisely how to complete a specific task: calibrating a specific instrument.
Level IV:
Records and forms are the base of the Quality Management System showing compliance to the International standard and Customer specification.

We hope this synopsis helps you on your quality journey.
